Broken french door locking mechanism replaced

Dan turned up on time and as discussed on the phone was able to open the doors which had become stuck shut due to the old broken mechanism which he then replaced. We would have no hesitation in using Dan’s services again and would highly recommend.

The whole process was quick and very professionally handled. I contacted D R Locks, described the problem. They were able to let me know what the solution was and how much it would cost to correct and they did the work the next day. Very impressed with the speed and quality provided.

Rang in the morning and Dan came to sort broken hinges on window that wouldn’t close. Super prompt service Other repairers were either quoting higher price or couldn’t do job for a couple of weeks

Bottom bracket on window unit snapped off due to wind

My mother left her upstairs bedroom window open whilst it was windy. The wind forced the bottom bracket on the window unit to break. I phoned Dan, who asked for pictures If the broken window and he gave me a really reasonable quote. He attended my mother’s property, fixed the window and left no mess. Really professional and would highly recommend.

Not a straightforward job as unusual doors but managed to get the door open then sourced replacement part and repaired as soon as part arrived.

Absolutely fantastic service from the first phone call. I sent a photo of the damage and size of the unit. Within minutes I was given a Quote over WhatsApp. I requested this via email for my insurance company. Again within minutes email was sent. I booked the job. Then within 30 min someone came out measured up. The .Price was confirmed as quoted and the unit was made and fitted within two hours . The guys removed the shattered glass and fitted the new unit. Removing all broken glass leaving the house and garden tidy. All staff I spoke to were friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

Upvc utility door mechanism not operating by handle

Excellent from start to finish! Contacted Dan for a non-emergency door repair on Friday evening. Phone was answered promptly and professionally. We quickly agreed a time for the repair for 10am the followed morning. Dan arrived on time and set straight to work. He very quickly had the door opened (with no damage) to gain access to the faulty mechanism, for which he had a spare on the van. Door back up and running within an hour of arriving. Would definitely use Dan again.

Searched websites and came across this guy. Called and the gentleman, he was very helpful, I sent images of the window frame and lock. As agreed he came out and fixed the window within an hour and also at a reasonable cost.

After speaking with Laura on the phone explaining my situation with my door on my bi folds that wouldn’t lock she gave me a price and let me know when job could be done. They were on time and explained what the issues were and what was happening to fix it. Great service all round and will definitely be using them again.

This is the second time we have used Dan and can only say positive things about him. Our front door locking mechanism broke and Dan was onsite quickly to identify and fix the lock. He also re-aligned the door to ensure it didn’t happen again.

Needed an emergency locksmith thinking lock was broke and Dan noticed it wasn’t the lock but door not straight preventing lock working, so straightened the door really quickly and problem fixed rapidly.

Brilliant. Door was sticking. They realigned the door and explained the cost of the job to fix it compared to the cost of a new door. Explained everything really well. This company will definitely NOT rip you off. They are very trust worthy and knowledgeable. Excellent time keeping as well. Would recommend this company 100%.

Window would not open, repair was made to the mechanism

Would highly recommend, appointment was made but we received a call asking if they could come a bit earlier, which was great. Very polite and professional, did a great job and cleaned up leaving no evidence he was ever in the house. Kept me up to date with what he was doing and didn’t mind my dogs all over him when he first arrived. Can’t recommend enough. Great job.

Very good. I would use again, I can not fault the service these guys provided last night when I was in a pickle. I needed some locks changed after an attempted break in. He got to me in ten minutes and changed the locks in a few minutes at a very good price with a few spare keys too. he checked the house for other potential weak spots and sorted the back gate for me. top guy!
